Current Opportunities within the Regenerative Soil Health Management Program
Graduate Student
M.S. or Ph.D.
The graduate degree program at the College of Agriculture is designed to produce graduates with the skills needed to succeed and be leaders in a century that will bring significant changes to agriculture. This program will produce graduates with production, consultancy, research and service skills adaptable to addressing a variety of issues in modern agriculture: fuel efficiency; nutrition retention and cycling; sustainable, organic and low-input crop/livestock production; water, energy and soil conservation; local and direct marketing; etc. Graduates will be able to effectively work and communicate with professionals in a wide variety of disciplines.
Summer Intern
Summer (May - August)
Lab Intern
Year-long
The summer intern will primarily support research on soil health management practices for cover crop, agroforestry, and organic agriculture research. Duties include preparing research plots, planting, harvesting, and recording data. The intern will also assist with additional new and ongoing projects at the research farms and other field locations.
We are also looking for a yearlong intern interested in continuing research activities throughout the academic year.
